Most of these tracks were recorded at the South Hill Candy Shop on May
31 and June 1, 1998, just before it burned down to the ground. Fred had
just acquired some new recording equipment and asked me if I would let
him record my stuff…and so with me on keyboard and my husband Elliot on
drums, we went in after hours and recorded straight to DAT. Bless Fred
and Rita McEachern for setting up shop and loving music so much.
It still feels as though the heartbeat of Main Street is gone.
